2. How do I change/cancel my booking?
Kindly get in touch with your Tour Manager/Travel Expert. They will advise the best options for you to proceed with your change of booking or cancellation request.
3. How do I know my booking is confirmed?
Once a confirmed booking has been made, we will send an acknowledgement via SMS, WhatsApp message and/or email.
4.How can I edit my booking details?
Kindly get in touch with your Tour Manager/Travel Expert. They will be able to assist you in doing the needful as per your requirement.
5. can I add more passengers to a confirmed booking?
We recommend that you inform us well in advance for us to make necessary arrangements to accommodate more passengers. Please talk to your Tour Manager to figure out the best possibility. However, please note that we may not be able to accept any last-minute request.
6. What documents are required at the time of booking?
For domestic tours: Aadhar card of all tour participant(s) is mandatory to proceed with the booking.
For International tours: Passport of all tour participant(s) is mandatory to proceed with the booking.
Please note that the requirements vary on tour to tour basis and our Tour Managers will inform you about needed documents at the time of booking. For further details, please check the itinerary in our website to know more about the list of required documents.
7. How far in advance should I make a booking?
Lovely Trails always recommend 2-3 months advance booking or as soon as you have decided on your travel plans. In any case, we recommend that you make a confirmed booking not less than 2-weeks before for Domestic tours and 3-weeks before for International tours.
8. Can I make a booking as a single traveller?
Absolutely. We cater to many solo travellers every year. We can either club your booking with our group tours or if you’d prefer to have your own private tour, that can also be arranged.

Please read 'Cancellation conditions' given in our Terms & Conditions to know more about our refund policy and cancellation charges applicable under different circumstances. We will also mention the details of cancellation charges in the Tour Document.

2. What is the maximum number of people allowed on a group tour?
Usually, our itineraries are designed to accommodate 15 - 30 people per group tour for a more personalized experience. However, we may agree to do larger groups on special request. Please talk to our Tour experts at the time of booking.
3. Can I extend my stay when I'm on a group tour?
Yes, extension of your tour is possible provided your visa and/or other legal permits have sufficient days left before its expiry. We highly recommend that you notify us at the time of booking about any possible extensions.

We take care of almost everything you may need on your tour to have a rich experience travelling with us - right from flight tickets, visas & permits to meals, accommodation, transport and activities etc. Also, our expert Tour Managers/Trip Leaders are experienced and professionally trained on adventure and First Aid, so your tour is guaranteed to be filled with great memories.

3. Can I make full payment in one go?

4. Does the tour price include a fight or other transportation costs?
Due to the dynamic nature of flight fares, they are always quoted separately. Please refer to your Tour Document for further details and pricing.
5. What is NOT included in the tour cost?

1. What is 'Gift a Tour' and how do I use it?
Lovely Trails offers a 'Gift a Tour' program for anyone who wishes to give a tour for their near and dear ones. A travel voucher or a complete holiday can be bought and presented to your loved ones. Please visit https://www.lovelytrails.com/giftatour.php to book a tour under this program.
2. Do you have any special offers on tour bookings?
It varies from time to time, and certain offers are provided in association with other partners. Please enquire about special offers or discounts at the time of booking.
1. What meals are included while on tour?
Certain tour packages of Lovely Trails include all or selected meal provisions. We will provide the meals at a set time every day depending on the tour itinerary. Our trip leader will communicate those details while you're on tour. On tours where meal provisions are not provided by us, our trip leaders will guide you to the best hotels/restaurants in each town or city based on your budget and liking.
2. Do you cater to food as per my requirements?
We recommend that you inform us regarding any special meal requirements such as baby meal, fasting meal and/or food allergies if any during booking. We will be able to make the necessary arrangements only when we know beforehand about such special requirements.
1. Do I need travel insurance?
On certain tours, Lovely Trails may include travel insurance policy as a mandatory requirement as an operational or legal requirement. Please read the policy document carefully to understand the clauses and coverage.
2. Can I join a tour midway?
In case your itinerary doesn't allow you to join us on the start date of the tour, we may still find a way for you to join us midway(if applicable). But, we strongly recommend that you inform us while booking so that we can check for necessary arrangements. Please note that Lovely Trails will confirm such requests only if it is possible to do so.

4. Are your tour packages disability-friendly?
As it depends on the level of mobility and your choice of tour, we will be able to address this on a case to case basis only. We recommend that you inform us about any special needs or conditions at the time of booking for us to make necessary arrangements (if applicable).
5. Are there any age limits?
We welcome everyone on our tours. There is no specific age limit. However, certain tours are adventurous in nature and may not be suitable for everyone. We recommend that you review the itinerary carefully to decide if the tour is right for you.
6. Who will I be travelling with?
Generally our tours are full of energetic, like-minded and fun loving people who end up making great travel buddies and best of friends for even lifetime.
7. How much luggage can I take?
Please remember that sometimes you may be required to carry your own luggage on and off transport services, so we highly recommend that you pack light with all the essentials. In case of flight travel, each airline has its own set of rules for luggage allowances. We advise you to either check directly with the respective airline or contact our Travel Experts to confirm.
8. Are there laundry facilities while we are on tour?
Laundry facilities can be availed at most places in the tour itinerary for a small cost.
9. What should I pack for an adventure tour(trekking, mountaineering etc.)?
We will share the packing checklist at least 2 weeks before the departure date. If you have any specific queries, please contact your Tour Manager or Trip Leader to clarify and confirm.
10. What form of transport do we use while on tour?
We mostly use comfortable air-conditioned coaches for group tours and spacious cars for small family trips. Whatever the form of transport, we make sure the vehicle is roomy for you to stretch out while shuttling from place to place.
11. Can I customize my booking itinerary?
Absolutely. We are experts in curating a customized vacation designed to suit your preferences. Just tell us what you want, and we can bring your ideal holiday dream to reality.
12. Do you take care of my flights and other travel bookings?
Yes. We do handle all your flight and other travel bookings as part of the tour package.
13. Do you take care of my visa and other legal requirements?
Yes, we will process visa and other legal permits as required by your travel destinations. However, the discretion of issuing a visa solely lies with the competent authority.
14. Do you offer Corporate trips, Leadership programs, OBT?
Yes, we do. Talk to our experts and we will be able to help. Also, our team consists of professionals trained & certified from most renowned schools around the world on outdoor learning programs, survival skill and adventure sports.
15. Do I need to take medical supplies?
Travellers who need regular medication should take necessary doses of adequate supplies with you. Otherwise, it is not necessary. However, you may take medical supplies for managing minor ailments like cold, sore throat, diarrhoea etc.
1. What does the Trip Leader do during the tour?
Our experienced Trip Leaders are the orchestrator of your tour. From taking you to different locations as per itinerary, sharing their knowledge about the place to suggesting places for you to eat/drink and managing behind-the-scenes actions such as filling out paperwork, reconfirming further bookings, they do so much so that you can have a smooth trip.
2. Does the Trip Leader speak multiple languages?
Our Trip Leaders are good at English and may be fluent in one or more regional languages.
3. Are your Trip Leaders certified in First-Aid?
Our Trip Leaders are trained and certified regularly on Wilderness Medicine programs from Wilderness Medicine Institute, USA. They are prepared to administer first aid for most emergencies that may occur on a trip and make further arrangements to transfer to a hospital.
1. What is your room sharing plan?
Our general procedure is to book 2 sharing and 3 sharing rooms for our trips. Some adventure/backpacking trips may also involve staying in camping tents and dorms.

Yes. We recommend that you notify us at the time of booking.

4. Why do some hotels charge additional fees?
Some cities have a ‘tourist tax’, or ‘hotel tax’, or ‘occupancy tax’ as a policy or local practice or as part of their legal requirement. Please note that the hotel will ask you to pay the amount at the time of check-in or check-out and we cannot make arrangements to have it prepaid.
5. What standard of hotels should I expect?
We make sure that your accommodation is of top quality with proper amenities at an accessible location. Accommodation details will be shared at the time of booking, and any change/update in the request will be made available to you immediately.
1. I don't have a passport. Can I still make a booking?
For international travel, Passport is a mandatory travel document without which we cannot proceed with booking. (Indian nationals travelling to Nepal and Bhutan have an exception from this rule).
2. How long should my passport be valid?
It is recommended to have at least 6 months of validity, including the scheduled return date on your passport at the time of your booking.
3. Do I need an entry visa to travel?
Requirements differ from country to country based on the nationality of the passport you are holding. Lovely Trails will inform the participant(s) about visa requirements at the time of enquiry.
4. Can you help me with visa services?
Yes, we will process visa and other legal permits as required by your travel destinations. However, the discretion of issuing a visa solely lies with the competent authority.

3. What happens if a planned activity is cancelled due to weather conditions?
The cost of that activity will be refunded to you if it is cancelled by the tour operator due to weather or any other operational difficulties.
